Nestled inside stunning Venus Bay, this excellent leasehold caravan park and kiosk business has plenty to offer new owners including about 220 metres of beach frontage.

Venus Bay is an extremely popular holiday, fishing and water sport destination point, easily accessed by 4km of bitumen road from the Flinders Highway.  The immediate area boasts pristine bay beaches, safe swimming and boating waters.

Outstanding fishing for whiting, salmon, garfish, tommy ruff, flathead and snook is enjoyed from boat or jetty.  And there are bigger challenges outside of the heads.

The park offers a broad choice of accommodation from budget to ensuited to deluxe beachfront cabins.  Most cabins have full length decks for guests’ enjoyment of the views.  Caravanners have plenty of choice of powered sites, many of which are drive-throughs. Amenities are of excellent standard. Two ablutions blocks cater adequately when the park is full.

Guests enjoy the large camp kitchen and BBQ facility and the adjoining undercover, partly enclosed communal eating area with its elevated position overlooking the park to the bay.

The kiosk side of the business does lively trade in fishing and other associated water activities gear, souvenirs, clothing, drinks, ice creams and some take away foods.

The 2 bedroom residence with bathroom, separate WC and open plan kitchen/dining/living provides direct access to the reception/kiosk.  An elevated position provides views over the park and the bay.

The vendor’s have done a great job with the park since purchasing the business  from Council 6 years ago.  They are now looking forward to retirement.  New owners will see the opportunity to further expand and develop areas of the park.

The town of Venus Bay was established after a whaling station was built in the 1820’s.  Like most of Eyre Peninsula, the area was first recorded by Captain Matthew Flinders in 1802. The bay takes its name from the first vessel to enter the bay, a schooner named ‘Venus’.
