Wyndham City Council invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced Managers to operate Werribee South Caravan Park under a Lease Agreement with Council.

Werribee South Caravan Park is situated within the City of Wyndham, one of Australia’s fastest growing municipalities. Located on Melbourne’s western fringe, the Werribee South Caravan Park remains one of the closest caravan parks servicing Melbourne’s CBD and a popular place to stay for visitors travelling to/from western Victoria including the Great Ocean Road, Bellarine Peninsula, Geelong, Ballarat and Spirit of Tasmania ferry services.

Werribee South Caravan Park is located within the Werribee South township; a beautiful setting on Port Phillip Bay. The 81 site (18,630 sqm) Caravan Park sits in immediate proximity to Werribee South beach, foreshore and boat ramp and part of Wyndham’s broader tourism precinct featuring the Werribee Mansion, the Werribee Open Range Zoo, Werribee Golf Club, wineries, restaurants and the Werribee River. Werribee South Caravan Park features high levels of occupancy, year-round.

The Manager will operate Werribee South Caravan Park under a lease agreement with Council. The initial term of the lease will be for a period of five (5) years from 1 October 2024. Council may extend the lease for a Further Term of an additional five (5) years at the end of the initial term.

Council’s objective is for Werribee South Caravan Park to be managed in a competitive, responsive and cost-effective manner that is customer-oriented and ensures that the comfort and safety expectations of its customers are met.
